Celebrate the serenity of snow with the Winter Landscapes Forever\u00ae stamps from the U.S. Postal Service
The booklet of 20 stamps showcases 5 photographs of frozen scenes: striking red barns set against a snowy scene (john Moore.photographer); a long fence bounded by talltrees and laden with snow-covered branches (juanita Philips, photographer;evergreens shrouded in snow (Katherine Plessner, photographer; a mass of icicles suspended against a fiery sunset and backdropof frozen waves (Carson O’Ffll photographer; and a house surrounded by frosty pines and set against a deep pastel sky (lMikeBlottenberger, photographer).
Art director Ethel Kessler designed the stamps with existing photographs.
The Winter Landscapes stamps are being issued as Forever@ stamps in booklets of 20. These Forever stamps will always beequal in value to the current First-Class Mail\u00ae one-ounce price.
